The organisation supports multiple airline operators across Australia and the Pacific, providing engineers with valuable exposure to regional turboprop and jet aircraft.
Positions are available for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) – B1.1/B2 as well as experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs). Successful candidates can benefit from competitive remuneration, structured rosters, professional development and aircraft type training.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out line and heavy maintenance activities on commercial and regional aircraft
- Perform scheduled inspections, servicing and unscheduled maintenance
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects and technical issues
- Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance procedures
- Support aircraft turnaround and day-to-day line maintenance operations
- Work on regional turboprop and jet aircraft
- Maintain accurate and compliant aircraft maintenance records
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet CASA requirements and approved standards
- Identify, investigate and report technical defects
- Work closely with other engineers and maintenance personnel
- Maintain strong safety, quality and regulatory standards at all times
- Participate in aircraft type training and additional approval programs as required
- Contribute to an efficient and professional maintenance operation
Requirements & Eligibility
For LAME Positions:
- Current CASA B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Strong Q400 experience – essential
- Dash 8 Classic 100/200/300 experience highly desirable
- B737 NG or MAX experience desirable
- Additional narrow-body or wide-body aircraft experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance regulations and procedures
For AME Positions:
- Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience
- Practical aircraft maintenance experience
- Line maintenance experience preferred
- Heavy maintenance experience will also be considered
- Turboprop aircraft experience advantageous
- Relevant aviation qualifications and technical training
