Automotive Technician

We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians / Diagnostic Technicians to join a well-established automotive service team in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians with strong diagnostic and repair experience who are looking to build a long-term career with ongoing training, career progression, and employer sponsorship for eligible candidates.

You will work with premium European vehicle brands in a professional workshop environment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and quality inspections while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
•  Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vehicles
•  Perform road tests and quality control inspections
•  Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer standards
•  Ensure all work is completed safely and accurately
•  Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition
•  Work collaboratively with the workshop team to achieve daily targets
•  Provide high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
•  Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
•  Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician
•  Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
•  Strong experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models
•  Previous experience in a busy workshop or prestige dealership is highly regarded
•  Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
•  Ability to work independently and within a team environment
•  Strong communication and organisational skills
•  Passion for the automotive industry and commitment to quality workmanship
•  Current Australian driver's licence or ability to obtain one if required
•  Experience working with European vehicle brands such as BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Jaguar Land Rover is advantageous
