The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity is available for skilled automotive professionals to join a well-established automotive dealership in South Australia. Multiple full-time permanent positions are available for qualified Automotive Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Accessory Fitters, and 3rd or 4th Year Light Vehicle Apprentices.
Successful candidates will work in a modern workshop servicing a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Ongoing manufacturer training, career development opportunities and a supportive team environment are provided. Employer sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas applicants who meet Australian visa requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs and maintenance on light vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop standards
- Install automotive accessories including bull bars, tow bars, canopies, roof racks, lighting and other aftermarket products
- Follow manufacturer fitting instructions and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management
- Assist with maintaining workshop efficiency and productivity
- Support and participate in ongoing manufacturer training and professional development
- Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician, or currently undertaking a 3rd or 4th Year Light Vehicle Apprenticeship
- Experience as an Accessory Fitter or strong mechanical aptitude for accessory installation
- Relevant automotive qualification or apprenticeship appropriate to the position
- Experience servicing and repairing light vehicles
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Current driver's licence or ability to obtain an Australian driver's licence
