Baker

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Bakers to join a well-established retail bakery in Victoria. Flexible full-time and part-time positions are available with an immediate start. This role offers competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-focused environment. Sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates.

• Prepare and weigh ingredients according to established recipes
• Mix dough following production schedules and quality standards
• Process and shape dough efficiently to meet daily production targets
• Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and retarders
• Bake a variety of bakery products to achieve consistent quality and appearance
• Monitor product flow throughout the production process
• Display freshly baked products appropriately for retail presentation
• Maintain production schedules to ensure timely product availability
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the bakery
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Support and mentor junior bakery staff and apprentices when required
• Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production goals

• Relevant bakery qualification or proven commercial baking experience
• Experience operating bakery ovens and dough processing equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong understanding of bakery production processes
• Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety practices
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively within a team
• Experience with retail bakery operations will be highly regarded
• Willingness to work rotating shifts as required
