Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts across traditional and contemporary styles
- Provide personalised consultations based on individual customer preferences
- Perform beard trimming, shaping and grooming services
- Carry out wet shave services where suitably skilled
- Maintain consistently high standards of cutting, styling and finishing
- Provide professional customer service and create a welcoming client experience
- Recommend appropriate hair and grooming products
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised work area
- Follow workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Work cooperatively with other barbers and team members
- Participate in ongoing training and skills development
- Maintain professional appearance and presentation at all times
- Build positive relationships with regular and new customers
- Contribute to a friendly, respectful and productive workplace culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant Barbering or Hairdressing qualification preferred
- Demonstrated practical experience in a barbershop or salon environment
- Strong technical skills in men's and contemporary haircutting
- Ability to work confidently with a range of hairstyles and customer requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Friendly, reliable and positive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to continue learning and develop professionally
- Shaving and wet-shave experience is advantageous
- Apprentices with suitable training and practical experience may be considered
- Candidates must be able to provide genuine and verifiable information regarding their qualifications and employment experience
- Onshore applicants are preferred
- Applicants must meet applicable Australian employment and visa requirements
