We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista who can confidently manage coffee service in a busy café environment. This position is ideal for someone with proven barista experience who can combine technical coffee-making skills with speed, consistency and a genuine focus on customer experience.

• Produce espresso-based coffee and hot beverages to established quality standards
• Operate and care for commercial coffee machines and grinders
• Maintain consistent beverage quality throughout high-volume service
• Manage customer orders and provide efficient counter service
• Process customer payments and operate POS systems
• Respond professionally to customer preferences and requests
• Prepare and display café food products appropriately
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the coffee station and front-of-house areas
• Complete routine cleaning of coffee equipment and workspaces
• Monitor stock and assist with replenishment requirements
• Support opening, service and closing operations
• Follow all relevant food safety and workplace procedures

• Demonstrated experience working as a Barista
• Confident knowledge of espresso extraction and coffee preparation
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment
• Ability to remain calm and organised during peak periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience using commercial coffee equipment
• Basic POS and cash-handling skills
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible rostered shifts
• Availability to work at least one weekend day
