Bricklayer

A construction business in Western Australia is seeking skilled and trade-qualified Bricklayers for ongoing residential and commercial projects.

This opportunity is suited to bricklayers who can demonstrate their trade knowledge through practical experience, understand construction requirements and consistently deliver accurate, quality workmanship.

Candidates with recognised qualifications and verifiable industry experience will be considered for full-time employment, with competitive industry rates, weekly pay and the opportunity to work additional Saturdays.

• Interpret and work from construction plans and drawings
• Set out brickwork accurately according to project specifications
• Lay bricks and blocks to the required standard and finish
• Prepare and mix mortar to the appropriate consistency
• Measure and maintain accurate levels, lines and alignment
• Operate brick cutting equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Follow construction specifications and established building practices
• Maintain safe working practices across residential and commercial sites
• Use hand tools, power tools and bricklaying equipment appropriately
• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting project deadlines

• Recognised trade qualification in Bricklaying, minimum Certificate III or equivalent
• Proven experience working professionally as a Bricklayer
• Strong practical understanding of bricklaying techniques and construction processes
• Ability to confidently read and interpret building plans
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and high-quality brickwork
• Competence using levels, measuring equipment and brick cutting machinery
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Reliable and professional approach to employment
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a construction team
• Physically capable of performing the requirements of a bricklaying role
• Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant work experience
