An established and growing renovation business in Western Australia is looking for an experienced Carpenter & Cabinetmaker who can bring proven trade skills, sound practical judgement and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

This opportunity is designed for tradespeople whose experience can be clearly demonstrated across different areas of carpentry. From kitchens and cabinetry to renovations, fit-outs and general maintenance, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills across varied projects rather than being limited to one type of work.

• Complete high-quality carpentry work across renovation and construction projects
• Install kitchens, cabinetry, fixtures and built-in components
• Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other building materials
• Undertake domestic renovation and refurbishment projects
• Work on commercial fit-outs and renovation projects
• Perform general carpentry and property maintenance work
• Carry out roofing-related carpentry tasks
• Construct and install fencing and external structures
• Interpret plans, measurements and project specifications
• Assess job requirements and organise materials and tools before commencing work
• Coordinate effectively with other trades on shared projects
• Complete allocated tasks independently while maintaining expected quality standards
• Identify construction issues and develop practical solutions
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in safe and serviceable condition
• Follow workplace safety procedures and project requirements
• Maintain professional standards when working on client properties and commercial sites
• Contribute to efficient project completion and positive customer outcomes
• Continue developing skills across different areas of carpentry and renovation

• Minimum 4 years of post-apprenticeship carpentry experience
• Demonstrated experience across multiple areas of carpentry
• Strong cabinetmaking and kitchen installation experience highly regarded
• Experience with residential and commercial fit-outs advantageous
• Roofing and fencing experience beneficial
• Ability to confidently complete carpentry tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively alongside other trades
• Strong planning, organisation and time-management abilities
• Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, motivated and committed approach to work
• Willingness to learn new techniques and further develop trade skills
• Full Australian driver’s licence
• Own professional carpentry tools
• Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol test
• Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or meet the requirements for an applicable sponsored visa
