• Prepare and deliver quality dishes consistently during daily kitchen operations
• Complete mise en place and food preparation efficiently before and during service
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, portion control and quality
• Work effectively within a busy, high-volume commercial kitchen
• Follow established recipes, preparation methods and kitchen procedures
• Maintain strict food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
• Monitor ingredient usage and support effective stock control
• Assist with receiving, storing and rotating food supplies
• Reduce food wastage through appropriate preparation and storage practices
• Maintain an organised and hygienic workstation throughout service
• Adapt to different kitchen environments and service requirements when required
• Support senior kitchen staff with daily operational requirements
• Contribute positively to a professional, collaborative team culture

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent recognised qualification
• At least 1 year of relevant commercial cooking experience
• Demonstrated practical ability in a professional kitchen environment
• Verifiable employment history and relevant hospitality experience
• Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Ability to maintain consistent standards under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional attitude, reliability and commitment to the role
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
