• Preparing and cooking meals to established quality and presentation standards
• Following recipes, portion requirements and kitchen procedures consistently
• Organising ingredients and completing mise en place before service
• Managing multiple cooking tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Working closely with senior kitchen staff and other team members
• Maintaining clean, sanitised and well-organised preparation and cooking areas
• Checking food quality, freshness and appropriate storage throughout kitchen operations
• Monitoring ingredient availability and communicating stock requirements
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with smooth kitchen service and responding appropriately to customer requirements
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
• Supporting other kitchen duties as required to maintain efficient daily operations

• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial Cook experience
• Experience working in a busy hospitality or kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to consistently follow recipes and established procedures
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
• Reliable, responsible and committed approach to work
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team
• Food safety certification or relevant food safety knowledge
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
