Chef de Partie

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a high-volume hospitality kitchen in New South Wales. The successful candidate will manage an assigned kitchen section, prepare consistently high-quality dishes, support menu development, and help maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards. This role offers sponsorship and potential PR opportunities for the right candidate.

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes within the designated kitchen section
• Assist with menu development and planning using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Supervise, train and support junior kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when required
• Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain consistency, presentation and food quality
• Contribute to kitchen meetings and discussions regarding menu changes, special events and operational improvements
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

• Recognised culinary qualification from an accredited institution
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Excellent culinary and food preparation skills
• Passion for food, creativity and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to supervise and motivate junior kitchen team members
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team
