Chef De Partie

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie for an exciting opportunity with a well-established hospitality venue in South Australia.

This role is ideal for a chef who is passionate about quality ingredients, premium meat preparation and delivering consistently high standards of food. You will take ownership of your kitchen section and play an important role in preparing a diverse menu featuring steaks, ribs, grilled dishes, burgers, pizzas and more.

• Take ownership of an assigned kitchen section
• Prepare and cook premium steaks, ribs and grilled meats
• Produce burgers, pizzas, sauces, sides and other menu items
• Ensure dishes are presented consistently and to a high standard
• Carry out daily mise en place for efficient service
• Monitor food quality and correct portion sizes
• Follow recipes, cooking procedures and kitchen standards
• Maintain appropriate food temperatures and storage procedures
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Monitor stock levels and assist with reducing unnecessary wastage
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Support junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef
• Contribute ideas for menu improvements and daily specials

• Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification in Commercial Cookery
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience working as a Chef, Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• Experience preparing grilled meats and steak dishes is highly regarded
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy service environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Strong time management and organisational abilities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
