An established hospitality business in Queensland is investing in the next stage of its food and kitchen operations and is looking for talented Chefs to join the journey.

This is more than a standard kitchen role. The successful candidates will join a team during an exciting period of growth, with opportunities to learn from experienced culinary professionals and contribute to the future direction of the food offering.

Excellent remuneration is available and may be negotiated based on skills and experience.

• Preparing and producing dishes to consistently high standards
• Completing mise en place and ensuring kitchen readiness for service
• Following recipes, preparation methods and quality requirements
• Maintaining clean, organised and safe kitchen work areas
• Monitoring food quality, freshness and presentation
• Supporting stock control and appropriate food storage
• Minimising food waste and maintaining efficient kitchen practices
• Working effectively as part of the wider kitchen and restaurant team
• Assisting with menu development and new food ideas
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members where appropriate

• Experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications are advantageous
• Applications are encouraged from Chefs across junior to senior levels
• Strong passion for quality food and professional standards
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Ability to perform well in a busy service environment
• Reliable and positive approach to teamwork
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Senior applicants should demonstrate leadership capability
