Chef

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Chef to join a busy hospitality operation in Western Australia. 

This role would suit a passionate and capable chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food. You will play an important role in maintaining kitchen standards, supporting menu development, managing stock efficiently and delivering a great dining experience.

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
• Ensure meals are prepared and served within required timeframes
• Support the efficient daily operation of the kitchen
• Follow recipes, menus and established kitchen procedures
• Assist with seasonal menu planning and menu changes
• Use ingredients effectively while maintaining quality standards
• Monitor stock levels and apply effective stock rotation practices
• Reduce food wastage wherever possible
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Assist with the training and development of kitchen staff
• Communicate effectively with team members during busy service periods

• At least five years of commercial kitchen experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent qualification
• Availability to work full-time hours including hospitality-based shifts
• Strong ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to kitchen operations
