Chef Sous

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Chef to join a well-established, high-quality restaurant in the ACT. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and delivering exceptional food and customer experiences. Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible working arrangements.

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to established standards
•  Assist with menu planning and development
•  Monitor food quality throughout preparation and presentation
•  Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on food preparation methods
•  Train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff
•  Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
•  Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
•  Manage workload effectively during busy service periods
•  Support continuous improvement in kitchen operations and food quality

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Chef
•  Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
•  Ability to work effectively as part of a professional kitchen team
•  Experience training and supervising kitchen staff
•  Professional attitude with excellent punctuality and reliability
•  Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
•  Good communication skills with professional working-level English proficiency
•  Commitment to delivering high-quality food and service
•  Australian work rights or eligibility for visa sponsorship
•  Willingness to learn, grow and develop within the hospitality industry
