• Preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining consistent kitchen standards
• Managing daily food preparation, cooking processes, and service requirements
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness standards are maintained
• Contributing ideas for seasonal menus, specials, and kitchen improvements
• Managing portion sizes, food costs, yields, and wastage control
• Supporting stock management, ordering processes, and inventory control
• Maintaining efficient kitchen systems to support smooth operations
• Working effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Assisting with training and supporting junior kitchen team members
• Helping achieve commercial kitchen goals through cost awareness and quality control

• Proven experience as a Chef or experienced Cook in a professional kitchen environment
• Relevant culinary qualifications or demonstrated industry experience
• Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations and food standards
• Experience with food costing, stock control, and waste management
• Ability to deliver consistent quality under pressure
• Strong organisational skills with a reliable and professional approach
• Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
