The Opportunity

A growing early childhood education provider in Queensland is seeking 12 dedicated Childcare Workers to join its team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for passionate early childhood professionals who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of young children while developing a long-term career within the Australian early learning sector.

The successful candidates will contribute to nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environments where children are supported to grow, learn and develop.

Visa sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates, providing an opportunity for suitably qualified childcare professionals to pursue employment in Australia, subject to applicable visa, qualification, English language and employer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care, supervision and support to children aged 0–6 years
  • Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that encourages children's learning and development
  • Assist in delivering age-appropriate educational programs and activities
  • Support curriculum planning and implementation in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Contribute to children's observations, learning documentation and electronic portfolios
  • Support individual children's learning, development, wellbeing and interests
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships with children and families
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians and team members
  • Work collaboratively with educators to provide consistent and high-quality care
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and supportive workplace environment
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Follow relevant policies, procedures, regulations and child safety requirements
  • Participate in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities
  • Use digital systems for programming, documentation and children's portfolios

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Currently studying towards or holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Genuine passion for working with children aged 0–6 years
  • Commitment to developing a long-term career in the early childhood sector
  • Positive, caring and enthusiastic approach to children's learning and wellbeing
  • Strong work ethic with a reliable and professional attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Flexible, open-minded and willing to contribute new ideas
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and Australian early childhood practices
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using electronic documentation systems
  • Current Queensland Blue Card or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain them
  • Overseas applicants must satisfy the applicable qualification and ACECQA assessment requirements
  • English language ability suitable for the relevant visa pathway
  • Ability to meet all applicable Australian visa and sponsorship requirements
