Class 5 Truck Driver

We are seeking experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers to join a leading civil construction company in the South Island, New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled heavy vehicle drivers with experience in construction, transport, or similar industries who are looking to build a long-term career with an Immigration Accredited Employer.

• Transport construction materials safely between project sites
• Load, unload and secure various construction materials
• Operate heavy vehicles with Road Ranger gearbox
• Comply with New Zealand road rules and transport regulations
• Monitor vehicle load weights and weight distribution
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections
• Maintain vehicles in clean and roadworthy condition
• Work closely with site supervisors and transport teams
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with other transport-related tasks as required

• Current Class 5 Heavy Vehicle Licence (or equivalent overseas licence eligible for conversion)
• Previous experience driving heavy trucks in construction, civil, mining or similar industries
• Experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes
• Good understanding of load weights and weight distribution
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices
• Excellent work ethic with a reliable and flexible attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• WTR endorsement or machinery operating experience is advantageous
• Willingness to relocate within the South Island if required
