Diesel Mechanic

• Take ownership of preventative maintenance programs across a modern agricultural machinery fleet
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, harvesters, sprayers, trucks, and support equipment
• Complete mechanical fault finding and provide effective solutions to minimise operational downtime
• Carry out scheduled servicing, component replacements, and machinery upgrades
• Respond to urgent field breakdowns and complete mobile repairs during peak farming periods
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment service history
• Manage workshop organisation, tools, parts inventory, and repair systems
• Work closely with farm operators and management to improve machinery performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members when required
• Assist with maintaining high safety and operational standards across the farming operation

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic or demonstrated equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience maintaining heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, or similar assets
• Strong diagnostic ability with confidence troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for maintenance outcomes
• Reliable work approach with flexibility during busy agricultural seasons
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
