Disability Support Worker

We are connecting skilled and compassionate Support Workers with a meaningful opportunity to make a genuine difference in the life of a participant living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This role is suited to an experienced care professional who understands the importance of consistency, trust, communication, and personalised support. The successful applicant will play a key role in helping a young participant develop confidence, independence, and positive daily routines through reliable and structured assistance.

The position includes day support and after-school shifts in New South Wales, Australia. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates who demonstrate the right experience, capability, and commitment to person-centred care.

• Deliver personalised support tailored to the participant’s individual needs and goals
•  Assist with daily activities, routines, skill development, and community participation
•  Support a participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including communication challenges
•  Use effective redirection approaches and positive behaviour support techniques
•  Follow Behaviour Support Plans and provide consistent care strategies
•  Monitor behaviours, identify support needs, and respond appropriately
•  Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in everyday activities
•  Maintain professional communication with families, carers, and support teams
•  Complete required documentation and provide accurate support updates
•  Create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability support, aged care, or a related support role
•  Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
•  Experience working with participants with limited verbal communication and complex behaviours
•  Ability to understand and implement Behaviour Support Plans effectively
•  Strong English communication skills with confidence in written and verbal communication
•  Reliable and consistent approach to ongoing participant support
•  Patient, empathetic, and committed to improving quality of life for others
•  Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a support team
•  Relevant disability support qualifications or experience preferred
