We are seeking a confident Duty Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a busy hospitality venue in New South Wales. You will be trusted to coordinate people, service standards, stock, compliance and customer experience while supporting a positive and professional workplace.
This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates who can demonstrate genuine hospitality management experience and a strong record of responsibility. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate, with priority consideration for applicants currently onshore in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily venue operations and ensure service runs efficiently
- Lead and supervise hospitality staff throughout daily operations
- Allocate shifts and assist with staff scheduling and workforce coordination
- Train, guide and support team members to maintain consistent service standards
- Monitor customer experience and resolve complaints or service issues professionally
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and coordinate supply orders
- Monitor venue procedures to support compliance with health and safety requirements
- Ensure day-to-day operations follow applicable licensing and hospitality regulations
- Support promotional activities, functions and special events
- Monitor sales activity, staff performance and customer feedback
- Prepare operational updates and reports for management
- Promote a professional, welcoming and service-focused workplace culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or hospitality management position
- Genuine hands-on knowledge of hospitality and venue operations
- Proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate hospitality teams
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Experience with stock control, ordering and basic financial responsibilities
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and other flexible hospitality hours
- Relevant hospitality, business or management qualifications are advantageous
- Applicants currently onshore in Australia are preferred
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate genuine and verifiable employment experience
