The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity is available for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher / Early Childhood Educator to join a well-established early learning centre in Victoria. This full-time permanent position offers the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, delivering high-quality education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging learning programs for children
  • Provide high-quality education and care in accordance with approved frameworks
  • Support children's learning, development and wellbeing
  • Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
  • Observe, assess and document children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership
  • Promote children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
  • Maintain accurate records and learning documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Early Childhood Education regulations and centre policies
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
  • Support positive behaviour guidance and inclusive practices
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in an early childhood education setting
  • Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Strong understanding of contemporary early childhood education practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and care
