Early Childhood Teacher

An established early childhood education provider in Queensland is seeking 5 dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to join its full-time kindergarten programs.

• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational programs
• Support children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
• Observe children's progress and maintain accurate learning documentation
• Develop respectful and meaningful relationships with children
• Build strong partnerships with parents, families and the wider community
• Communicate regularly with families about children's learning and development
• Contribute to electronic programming and children's learning portfolios
• Work collaboratively with Early Childhood Teachers and other educators
• Support the implementation of the National Quality Standards and National Regulations
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, education and care
• Contribute ideas and innovative approaches to improve children's learning experiences
• Participate in professional development, training and educator collaboration activities
• Maintain a positive, professional and inclusive team environment
• Demonstrate flexibility, reliability and enthusiasm in daily responsibilities

• Hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
• OR hold an approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and be actively working towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
• OR be actively working towards an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and have completed at least 50% of the qualification
• Applicants applying under the 50% completion pathway must provide academic transcripts confirming the required study completion
• Overseas-qualified Early Childhood Teachers are encouraged to apply
• Meet relevant ACECQA qualification and skills assessment requirements
• Meet applicable English language requirements
• Meet the eligibility requirements for the relevant Australian visa pathway
• Be able to obtain a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
• Be able to successfully complete a National Police Check
• Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications, or obtain them as required
• Demonstrate genuine passion for early childhood education
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Be enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and professional
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Have a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in early childhood education
