Electrical Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Technician who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis and industrial equipment support. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a structured maintenance team while contributing to the performance of essential plant operations.

• Carry out electrical inspections, maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment functionality
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Complete corrective maintenance in response to equipment faults
• Assist in reducing plant downtime through effective fault diagnosis
• Support continuous improvement and reliability programs
• Work alongside production personnel to improve operational efficiency
• Assist with practical maintenance solutions and equipment improvements
• Maintain compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements
• Work as part of a collaborative maintenance team

• Current Australian Electrical Licence – essential
• At least 2 years’ experience in an industrial or comparable environment
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, mining or heavy industry is highly regarded
• Strong practical electrical fault-finding skills
• Sound understanding of safe electrical work practices
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Verifiable qualifications and relevant employment experience
• Instrumentation knowledge is advantageous
• SAP experience is advantageous
