The Opportunity
This opportunity is designed for experienced electrical professionals who can demonstrate their skills, qualifications and reliability in real-world environments. You’ll join a growing electrical and security business in New South Wales, working across residential and commercial projects while expanding your expertise into CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control.
The focus is on finding the right professional fit—not simply filling a vacancy. Your electrical background, practical experience and professional approach will be important to building trust with clients and taking ownership of your work. Eligible overseas-qualified candidates can also receive sponsorship support and guidance through the Australian licensing pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial projects
- Install, configure and maintain CCTV security systems
- Install and service alarm systems
- Install and maintain intercom and access control systems
- Attend local customer sites and complete assigned work professionally
- Assess job requirements and carry out work efficiently and accurately
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Maintain a high standard of presentation when working in homes and commercial premises
- Take responsibility for assigned jobs from start to completion
- Follow electrical safety standards, workplace procedures and relevant regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle in good working condition
- Work collaboratively while demonstrating the ability to operate independently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian electrical licence or overseas electrical qualification that is eligible for Australian licensing
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical trade experience
- Strong practical knowledge across residential and commercial electrical work
- Experience or interest in CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control
- Own electrical hand tools
- Australian driver's licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights and EWP tickets are advantageous
- Professional communication and customer-facing skills
- Reliable and self-motivated approach to completing jobs
- Ability to demonstrate genuine trade experience and qualifications during the recruitment and verification process
