Electrician

• Install, test and commission commercial electrical and communications systems
• Install circuits in existing switchboards
• Carry out fault finding on electrical installations and communications cabling
• Perform preventative maintenance on switchboards, including RCD testing
• Install, terminate and test structured cabling systems
• Install, terminate and test fibre optic cabling
• Install and commission cloud-based security systems
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations
• Complete work to a high standard while maintaining accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver projects on time and safely

• Current Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
• Communications Licence with S and OF endorsements is advantageous (training may be provided)
• Minimum 1 year of post-trade electrical experience
• Experience in commercial electrical and communications projects
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fibre installation
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Current driver's licence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
