Electrician Or Electrical Service Technician

Our client is a well-established New Zealand-based company and a leader in commercial entrance systems, access solutions, and asset maintenance services. Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Service Technician, Electrician, or Electrical Service Technician (EST) to join their expanding team.

This full-time role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing technical training, career development opportunities, and sponsorship for suitable overseas candidates. You will work across the region servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and installing a variety of commercial door and access systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Diagnose faults and repair commercial entrance and access systems
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of automatic doors
• Maintain and repair roller doors, manual doors, high-speed doors, and gate systems
• Respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown callouts
• Travel between customer sites to complete service work
• Provide professional customer service and technical support
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards
• Participate in ongoing training and technical development
• Work within an on-call roster as required

• Proven experience as an Electrician, Electrical Service Technician (EST), or Service Technician
• Experience in electrical servicing, maintenance, or fault diagnosis
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Current full driver's licence is essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
• Able to participate in an on-call roster
• Must successfully pass required background and security vetting
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
