Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily animal feed
- Feed livestock while maintaining animal welfare standards
- Monitor animal health and report any concerns
- Safely handle and move livestock when required
- Assist with livestock processing and quality control activities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all farm facilities
- Use approved cleaning products and follow biosecurity procedures
- Operate farm equipment and vehicles after training
- Carry out general farm maintenance, including mowing and weed control
- Inspect and maintain farm equipment and work areas
- Accurately record daily activities and communicate with supervisors
- Work closely with the farm team to achieve operational goals
- Follow workplace health, safety, environmental, and animal welfare procedures at all times
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in farming, livestock, agriculture, landscaping, construction, warehousing, or other physically demanding work is advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour throughout the workday
- Genuine interest in animal care and agricultural work
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to workplace safety and following farm procedures
- Available to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays when required
- Current driver's licence is advantageous
