Formwork Carpenter

We are looking for experienced Formwork Carpenters who can demonstrate strong practical skills, reliable site performance and the ability to work effectively as part of an established construction crew.

This opportunity is suited to tradespeople with a proven formwork background who are ready to contribute to major construction projects across New South Wales. Candidates will be assessed based on their experience, skills, reliability and overall suitability for the role.

• Construct and install formwork for concrete structures in accordance with project requirements
• Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Set out formwork accurately to required measurements and tolerances
• Work confidently with a range of formwork systems
• Install, secure and dismantle formwork safely and efficiently
• Check formwork for correct alignment, levels, dimensions and stability
• Operate hand tools and power tools relevant to formwork carpentry
• Work closely with supervisors and other trades to maintain project progress
• Complete assigned work to a high standard within required timeframes
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
• Demonstrate consistent workmanship and reliability on site

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on formwork carpentry experience
• Demonstrated experience with formwork systems
• Strong practical understanding of formwork construction methods
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Valid White Card
• Proven ability to work effectively within a construction crew
• Strong work ethic and dependable approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically capable of performing construction site duties
