• Deliver exceptional customer service in a restaurant, café, and retail environment
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Prepare and serve coffee, hot beverages, and other drinks
• Assist with food, beverage, and retail product service
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of front-of-house areas
• Prepare service areas before opening and complete closing procedures
• Restock supplies and ensure products are displayed appropriately
• Manage customer enquiries, bookings, and reservations
• Assist with staff rostering and daily operational coordination
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining service standards
• Follow workplace health, safety, and hygiene procedures
• Collaborate with the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or retail operations, or an equivalent hospitality qualification
• Experience taking customer orders and processing payments
• Barista experience and the ability to prepare quality hot beverages
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Confident using POS systems, booking systems, and other digital platforms
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Professional attitude with excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility when required
• Eligible for New Zealand employer-sponsored employment where applicable
