Goldfields Field Service - HD Mechanic

This role is suited to experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics who want more than a standard workshop position. You will work directly with heavy mobile equipment in the field, supporting client operations through diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, shutdown activities and equipment movements.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and servicing on heavy mobile equipment
• Respond to field breakdowns and carry out efficient fault-finding
• Complete scheduled and preventative maintenance activities
• Support shutdowns, equipment movements and other field service requirements
• Work with a range of major OEM heavy equipment
• Deliver safe, accurate and high-quality mechanical work
• Manage assigned tasks and work scopes within required timeframes
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation and reports
• Communicate professionally with clients, site representatives and internal team members
• Follow all site safety procedures and workplace requirements
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a field service team

• Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification or equivalent relevant qualification
• Demonstrated experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile equipment
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with major OEM equipment is highly regarded
• Valid Australian driver's licence or the ability to meet licensing requirements
• High Risk Work Licence for LF and/or WP is preferred
• Ability to work safely and professionally in a field service environment
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol assessments
• Willingness to complete identity, qualification and employment verification as part of the candidate assessment process
