We are connecting experienced Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauty Therapists and multi-skilled Hair & Beauty Professionals with established salon opportunities in New Zealand.

• Deliver professional hairdressing, barbering and/or beauty services according to your area of expertise
• Conduct professional consultations and understand individual client requirements
• Perform ladies’ and men’s cutting, styling, blow waves and hair-ups
• Complete colouring services including root touch-ups, global colour, foils, highlights and lowlights
• Perform balayage, ombré, toning and colour correction services
• Provide keratin, nanoplasty, Hair Botox and other smoothing treatments where qualified
• Perform straightening, perming and other chemical services where qualified
• Provide barbering and men's grooming services where applicable
• Perform threading, waxing, facials and other professional beauty treatments
• Provide eyebrow and eyelash extension and tinting services where qualified
• Recommend appropriate treatments, products and home-care routines
• Maintain professional hygiene, salon presentation and health and safety standards
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Deliver a consistently professional and high-quality customer experience
• Work effectively with colleagues in a busy salon environment
• Maintain and develop current technical skills and industry knowledge

• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on professional experience preferred
• Relevant qualifications in hairdressing, barbering, beauty therapy or a related field, and/or demonstrable professional industry experience
• Strong practical skills appropriate to the position being applied for
• Demonstrable experience with modern cutting, colouring, styling, barbering or beauty techniques relevant to the role
• Ability to confidently perform services to a professional salon standard
• Strong client consultation, communication and customer service skills
• Professional presentation and a reliable approach to work
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
• Genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and client care
• Ability to provide evidence of qualifications and/or professional work experience when required
• Current New Zealand work rights or eligibility to obtain the appropriate work visa
• Overseas professionals with suitable qualifications and proven experience are encouraged to apply
