Head Chef

• Plan, prepare, and oversee the production of high-quality meals
•  Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team
•  Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards
•  Develop and implement seasonal, bistro, and function menus
•  Manage food costs, budgets, and stock control
•  Prepare staff rosters and oversee kitchen scheduling
•  Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
•  Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
•  Work closely with venue management to achieve business objectives
•  Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high performance
•  Manage kitchen inventory and supplier requirements
•  Resolve operational issues and maintain a positive team environment

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
•  Proven experience leading a busy commercial kitchen
•  Strong menu planning and food costing knowledge
•  Excellent leadership and team management skills
•  Sound understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
•  Strong organisational and time management abilities
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•  Creative, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
