Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

• Diagnose, service and repair heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
• Repair engines, transmissions, drivelines, steering, suspension and braking systems
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthy compliance
• Complete workshop documentation and service reports accurately
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimise vehicle downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company standards

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience working on heavy commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and workshop documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence (HR or HC licence is advantageous)
• Willingness to relocate to New South Wales
