Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Heavy Vehicle / Bus Mechanics to join a leading transport and fleet maintenance business in Western Australia. This full-time position offers visa sponsorship for eligible international applicants, a structured 2:1 roster, company-provided accommodation, relocation assistance, and long-term career opportunities.

Working across a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. This role is ideal for skilled mechanics looking to expand their experience within the transport and mining support sectors.

• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and buses
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults
• Repair and maintain buses, coaches, trucks, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes, and small plant equipment
• Perform breakdown repairs and emergency maintenance when required
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify repair requirements
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer specifications to troubleshoot faults
• Work effectively within a team in regional or remote environments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle, Diesel, or Bus Mechanic
• Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, buses, coaches, or trucks
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work on a varied fleet of vehicles and equipment
• Willingness to work a 2:1 roster in regional or remote locations
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to long-term employment
