This permanent, full-time Hybrid Multi-Cloud Technician position is suited to an experienced ICT professional who wants more than a routine support role. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day technical support for hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Investigate and resolve IT incidents, service requests and technical issues
- Maintain the reliability, availability and operational performance of technology services
- Use service management platforms to record, track and progress technical issues
- Assist senior technical specialists with troubleshooting and complex support matters
- Support technology deployments, system changes and implementation activities
- Assist with technical planning for new solutions and service improvements
- Participate in digital technology projects and operational initiatives
- Follow established technical procedures, standards and security requirements
- Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas for improving service delivery
- Work with internal technology teams, business users, vendors and other stakeholders
- Support the rollout of technology solutions across nationally connected services
- Assist with testing, implementation and transition of new technology
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation
- Escalate risks, faults and complex technical matters when appropriate
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and innovation
- Participate in an on-call roster when required to support critical technology services
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an ICT Technician or Technology Technician role
- Practical background in IT service support, maintenance and operational troubleshooting
- Experience using service management platforms, preferably ServiceNow
- Understanding of IT service management principles and structured incident resolution
- Experience assisting with technology implementation, deployment or system changes
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- IT industry certification such as ITIL or another recognised service management qualification is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a wider technology team
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, platforms and technologies
- Organised and proactive approach to technical support and service delivery
- Ability to follow established processes while exercising appropriate judgement
- Commitment to professional standards, security, compliance and responsible technology practices
- Willingness to participate in an on-call support roster
