Hotel Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and practical Hotel Manager to join a hotel operation in NSW. 

We are looking for more than a traditional office-based manager. This role requires someone who can take ownership, respond to challenges, support guests and staff, and remain actively involved in all areas of daily operations.

You will enjoy a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to build a long-term career. Accommodation may be available, and sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

• Manage daily hotel operations and ensure smooth service delivery
• Interact professionally with guests and respond to their needs
• Coordinate staff, suppliers and contractors
• Communicate with relevant external authorities when required
• Handle operational challenges and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain high standards across the property
• Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Support contractors and monitor repair requirements
• Take responsibility for practical day-to-day problem solving

• Experience in hotel management, hospitality management or a similar role
• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• A proactive and practical approach to work
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confidence dealing with guests, staff and external stakeholders
• Basic maintenance or handyman skills are preferred
• Resilience, adaptability and a positive attitude
• Open to relocation within NSW
