Landscape Gardener

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of soft and hard landscaping tasks while working alongside a supportive and professional team. 

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, weeding, planting and trimming
• Carry out soft landscaping and assist with hard landscaping projects
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools safely
• Use chainsaws, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, weed trimmers, power washers and other hand and power tools
• Maintain gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces to a high standard
• Identify and care for a wide range of plants, trees and shrubs
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Minimum 2 years of landscaping or landscape gardening experience
• Horticultural qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of plant care, maintenance and landscaping practices
• Experience with landscaping equipment and power tools
• Experience in hard landscaping is advantageous
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Full driver's licence preferred (manual licence advantageous)
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
