Landscaper

We are looking for an experienced Landscaper who can demonstrate genuine hands-on capability, a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality construction standards.

This opportunity is with an established commercial landscaping team delivering landscape projects across the Northern Territory. The successful candidate will be trusted to work across different stages of construction, from preparing sites and establishing levels through to installing hardscape features, irrigation, drainage, turf and plants.

• Prepare commercial sites for landscape construction works
• Carry out excavation, levelling, set-out and base preparation
• Install turf, plants, mulch and other soft landscaping features
• Complete paving, edging and minor concreting works
• Construct retaining walls and other landscape structures
• Install and maintain drainage and irrigation systems
• Operate landscaping machinery, plant and equipment safely
• Read and work to site requirements and construction specifications
• Maintain high standards of workmanship across all assigned tasks
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe throughout each project
• Follow WHS procedures and site safety requirements
• Work productively with supervisors and other trades to achieve project targets
• Complete assigned work within required project timeframes
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism and care for commercial worksites

• Minimum 2 years of practical landscape construction experience
• Demonstrable hands-on skills across hard and soft landscaping
• Formal landscaping qualifications advantageous
• Strong work ethic and dependable approach to employment
• Commitment to quality, safety and professional workplace standards
• Current full driver's licence essential
• Own reliable transport essential
• MR licence advantageous
• White Card essential
• Permanent Australian work rights preferred
• Temporary residents need not apply

• Working with Children Card (OCHRE) or willingness to obtain
• DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Physically capable of performing outdoor landscape construction duties
• Willingness to commit to a long-term position
