This opportunity is designed for skilled tradespeople who can combine hands-on cabinetmaking expertise with team leadership. You’ll play an important role in keeping workshop production organised, maintaining quality standards and supporting a team to deliver projects efficiently.

• Lead and support cabinetmakers and apprentices within the workshop
• Coordinate day-to-day production activities and maintain an efficient workflow
• Use your cabinetmaking expertise to guide team members and resolve production issues
• Manufacture, assemble and finish quality cabinetry and joinery
• Check completed work to ensure high standards of workmanship and accuracy
• Interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications and measurements
• Operate and oversee the safe use of workshop machinery and equipment
• Monitor production progress and help the team meet required deadlines
• Provide practical support and technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Assist with cabinetry installations when required
• Maintain an organised, clean and safe workshop
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and encourage safe work practices
• Work closely with the production team to improve efficiency and output

• Trade-qualified Cabinetmaker with Certificate III or an equivalent qualification
• Proven professional experience in cabinetmaking and joinery
• Demonstrated ability to manufacture and assemble quality cabinetry
• Previous Leading Hand or team leadership experience is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of workshop production processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications
• Competent and safe use of relevant cabinetmaking machinery and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and team leadership skills
• Reliable, organised and able to work to production deadlines
• Ability to take responsibility and lead by example
• Positive, practical and team-oriented approach
