• Provide high-quality mental health nursing and clinical care
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and psychiatric assessments
• Develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support to patients
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical officers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support patients, families and carers through education and recovery planning
• Promote patient safety and ensure compliance with mental health legislation and clinical standards
• Participate in case reviews, care planning and discharge planning
• Maintain professional standards, ethical practice and patient confidentiality
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities
• Deliver compassionate, person-centred mental health care

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent recognised qualification
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or eligibility to obtain registration
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mental health nursing or mental health clinical practice
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment and mental health care principles
• Sound understanding of relevant Australian mental health legislation and clinical practice standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing will be highly regarded
• Willingness to relocate to Australia
