A trusted Australian fabrication business is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker, or Welder who takes pride in producing quality workmanship and solving real-world engineering challenges.

This opportunity is designed for skilled tradespeople who want more than repetitive workshop tasks. You will be involved in a variety of fabrication projects, combining workshop production with hands-on installation work across different industries.

• Fabricating and welding custom components for a range of projects
• Interpreting technical drawings, plans, and fabrication specifications
• Working with steel, aluminium, and stainless-steel materials
• Using fabrication tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely
• Completing welding tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Assisting with site installations and project completion activities
• Applying practical knowledge to identify solutions during fabrication and installation
• Working alongside experienced tradespeople and project teams
• Communicating effectively with team members and clients when required
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and workmanship
• Supporting projects from initial fabrication through to final installation

• Recognised trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in fabrication and welding environments
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials
• Proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional standards
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Practical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable work ethic with a safety-first approach
• Willingness to complete both workshop and occasional site-based duties
