A strong opportunity is available for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic seeking a long-term FIFO career in Western Australia.

This position is suited to qualified tradespeople who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience, appropriate refrigeration credentials and a strong commitment to safety. The focus is on matching proven technical capability with a professional maintenance environment where reliability and quality workmanship matter.

The role offers an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster, 12-hour shifts and access to ongoing development opportunities.

• Maintain and service refrigeration and air-conditioning systems across commercial and domestic facilities
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical and mechanical faults
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Inspect systems and identify potential faults before failures occur
• Carry out repairs in accordance with safety and technical requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
• Work closely with other maintenance personnel and site teams
• Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
• Operate safely in remote and challenging working environments
• Complete assigned maintenance activities within required timeframes

• Recognised Refrigeration Mechanic trade qualification
• Current ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
• WA Restricted Electrical Licence
• Demonstrated domestic and commercial refrigeration experience
• Current driver's licence
• Willingness to convert driver's licence to Australian requirements if applicable
• Recent Australian Federal Police Clearance within 6 months
• Working at Heights and EWP certification or willingness to obtain
• First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• White Card / Construction Card or willingness to obtain
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a FIFO roster
• Strong safety awareness and professional work ethic
