Key Responsibilities
- Complete high-quality plumbing installations across residential and commercial projects
- Install hot and cold water systems, sanitary plumbing and related fixtures
- Install, maintain and repair plumbing pipework, fittings, valves and control components
- Work on hydronic heating systems, including underfloor heating installations and associated equipment
- Install and commission hot water cylinders and heat pump water heating systems
- Support heating and HVAC projects by working alongside specialist installation teams
- Interpret technical drawings, plans and project specifications accurately
- Measure, cut, assemble and secure pipework using appropriate trade tools
- Carry out system testing, fault diagnosis and maintenance repairs
- Identify plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to ensure reliable operation
- Maintain professional standards across safety, workmanship and customer service
- Keep work areas, vehicles and equipment organised and compliant with workplace standards
- Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Plumber with recognised trade credentials and relevant industry experience
- New Zealand plumbing registration or eligibility to obtain registration preferred
- Minimum three years of plumbing experience in residential or commercial environments
- Demonstrated experience with plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work
- Experience with hydronic heating, underfloor heating or HVAC-related plumbing systems highly regarded
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications and installation requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results
- Good problem-solving ability and confidence in diagnosing technical issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid driver licence or ability to obtain one
- Verified trade experience and willingness to provide supporting employment and qualification documentation
