Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and organised Programme Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation delivering impactful community and international development programmes. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects, build strategic partnerships, coordinate training initiatives, and support grant development while contributing to programmes that promote social impact, resilience, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage domestic and international programmes from planning through delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders
- Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant applications and project proposals
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, reporting, and programme administration
- Prepare reports, presentations, newsletters, website content, and communication materials
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on programme performance and outcomes
- Support partnership development and collaboration initiatives
- Assist with coordination of internship and capacity-building programmes
- Maintain project documentation and ensure effective programme processes
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve organisational objectives
- Undertake additional programme management and administrative responsibilities as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in programme management, project coordination, or a related field
- Experience preparing grant applications and funding proposals
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional stakeholder relationships
- Experience managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in training delivery, education, or workshop facilitation is advantageous
- Interest in community development, international affairs, or social impact initiatives
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Must be willing to undertake domestic and international travel when required
