Project Engineer
Job Description
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Engineer to join a growing civil construction team on a permanent full-time FIFO roster in Western Australia. Working on large-scale civil and mining infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from planning through to completion while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule
- Monitor project productivity, costs, and budget performance
- Plan and schedule construction activities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
- Develop Construction Method Statements (CMS), work packs, and project documentation
- Assist with project estimating, forecasting, and variations
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Maintain quality assurance and quality control throughout project delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and contractual requirements
- Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities
- Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer within civil construction, mining, or earthworks projects
- Experience delivering bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks, pavements, drainage, and services projects
- Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, quality assurance, and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one if required
- Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
- Willingness to work a FIFO 2:1 roster
