Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer who can bring proven technical capability and practical construction experience to high-rise developments. The focus is on candidates whose qualifications, experience and professional background can be clearly verified and matched to the requirements of the role.

This opportunity is particularly suited to engineers with hands-on exposure to formwork, concrete structures, structural coordination and high-rise construction.

• Coordinate structural construction activities across high-rise and major building projects
• Manage and monitor formwork and concrete construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain project progress
• Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Assist with construction planning, programming and sequencing
• Monitor project milestones, quality and compliance requirements
• Support contract administration and project commercial processes
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
• Identify construction risks, technical issues and project delays
• Assist in developing practical solutions to construction and engineering challenges
• Maintain accurate project documentation and progress records
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery
• Ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently and to required standards

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• 2–5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience
• Demonstrated experience in formwork and concrete structures
• Experience delivering high-rise or large-scale construction projects
• Previous experience with a construction subcontractor preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project programming
• Experience with contract administration and project documentation
• Ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Practical understanding of structural construction processes
• Verifiable qualifications and employment history relevant to the position
• Relevant overseas engineering and construction experience will be considered
• Ability to meet Australian employment and sponsorship requirements
