Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred care, leading care teams, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained.

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to residents
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor resident health
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Develop, review and update individualised care plans
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and care staff
• Support and mentor Graduate Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers
• Work collaboratively with families, GPs, allied health professionals and external providers
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
• Promote infection prevention and maintain compliance with aged care standards
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' health conditions
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in ongoing education and mandatory training programs

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous experience within residential aged care is highly regarded
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of aged care legislation, infection control and professional standards
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations in line with employer requirements
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
