Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to patients
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Support patients and families throughout their care journey
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Promote patient safety and quality care standards
- Participate in care planning and discharge processes
- Support rehabilitation goals and palliative care needs
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff where required
- Comply with organisational policies and professional standards
- Participate in rotating morning, evening and night shifts
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or eligibility for registration
- Previous nursing experience in acute, subacute, rehabilitation or aged care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering person-centred care
