The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of a busy quick service restaurant in New South Wales (NSW). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality leader with strong quick service restaurant (QSR) management experience to oversee daily operations, develop high-performing teams and drive outstanding business results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading restaurant operations, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, achieving financial and operational targets, and creating a positive workplace culture. Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified and eligible international candidates with significant QSR management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop restaurant management and crew teams
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Drive performance across customer service, quality, cleanliness and operational excellence
- Monitor sales, labour costs, food costs and overall restaurant profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and company policies
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
- Analyse restaurant performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing levels, rostering and productivity
- Train, mentor and develop future leaders within the restaurant
- Maintain inventory control and minimise operational costs
- Execute business strategies, promotions and operational initiatives
- Lead by example while fostering a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, Business Manager or similar leadership role within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment
- Previous experience with McDonald's or a comparable international QSR brand is highly regarded
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to manage restaurant financial performance, labour and operational costs
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Sound understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety and operational compliance
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Eligible for Australian employer sponsorship where required and meeting visa requirements
